Since its beginnings, in 1915, the Escuela Remington de Comercio, founded by Mr. Gustavo Vásquez Betancourt, was a progressive institution, consistent with the demands of the companies and industry in Medellin and Antioquia. In addition, its orientation has always been inclusive. It was gradually recognized as the Organización Remington that is still in force today.
In 1996, the Ministry of National Education in Colombia and the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education - ICFES, through Resolution 2661, granted the Organización Remington legal status as a university institution, giving rise to the Corporación Universitaria Remington - Uniremington, which has a large regional presence in the country.
Our institution of higher education, in addition to face-to-face education, has also led the distance education methodology in Colombia, and since 2016, has implemented the online methodology. Thanks to our technological advances, the Spanish-speaking community in the United States will be able to study with us.
The education and humanistic and academic formation provided by Uniremington will always be of high quality so that its graduates are always protagonists of progress everywhere and can strengthen their life plan.
The Corporación Universitaria Remington is a private higher education institution, professional and teaching-oriented that fulfills in terms of high quality, with the functions of teaching, research and extension.
